A native of Milford, Connecticut, Ignac has chosen a path that combines high-level hockey development with a world-class university education, positioning himself for a future in professional hockey.

Why Ostrava?

"I signed with Ostrava because I knew I wanted to play professional hockey—that has always been my ultimate goal. While I was speaking with NCAA schools, I recognized that the landscape has changed, and I felt Europe would provide a smoother pathway and transition into professional hockey while still allowing me to earn an education. Ostrava provides the tools, resources, and competitive environment necessary for me to continue developing as both a player and a person, and ultimately reach the next level."

Ignac joins a growing group of ambitious student-athletes who are pursuing their hockey dreams while earning a degree at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
