Ostrava Steel Hawks Announce Signing of Defenseman Josh Pexa

The Ostrava Steel Hawks are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Josh Pexa from New Prague, Minnesota.

Pexa, a 5’10” defenseman, brings a physical and confident style of play to the Steel Hawks’ blue line. Known for his defensive presence, ability to protect teammates, and confidence with the puck, he is expected to add both stability and offensive opportunity from the back end.

“I chose the Ostrava Steel Hawks to better my education and develop my style of play while bringing a high level of defensive hockey and confidence with the puck,” said Pexa. “I’m a player who can defend my teammates, deliver hits, create opportunities, and contribute offensively.”

Leaving his previous team was not an easy decision, but Pexa believes the move represents an important step forward.

“It was a tough choice deciding to leave the team I was at, but this feels like a great opportunity. I have no regrets—this was the right decision for me and for my career.”
